About the project

Ballymun Is Brilliant is a celebration of the creativity of Ballymun’s residents and vibrant community groups.

Through chats over cuppas, moments of inspiration and creating amazing art, together we will explore the brilliance of Ballymun. We will honour its past, live the present and imagine our collective future. And we will creatively look at ways we can continue to build a resilient and sustainable Ballymun together.

The project is funded by the Government’s Creative Climate Action Fund and is built on a partnership between three organisations with strong roots in Ballymun: Global Action Plan, Axis Ballymun and the Rediscovery Centre.
